Biographical Information






  Lance J. Johnson received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Macalester College and his LL.B. from the University of Michigan Law School.

  Lance is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts in Minnesota.  He was a Special Assistant Attorney General for Douglas M. Head, assigned primarily to the Insurance Division and responsible for assisting in the passage of Attorney General Head’s legislative program.

  Lance was the Commissioner of Securities for Governor Harold LeVander, and successfully sponsored legislation and had that division be the first state agency to issue its licenses using data processing.

  Lance subsequently practiced law in the St. Paul area specializing in real estate and small business and commercial transactions.  He successfully handled several appeals in the Minnesota Supreme Court.

   Lance also has developed many lots in Dakota County and been an investor in other development projects as well as owning directly and directly multiple rental units.
