We have little control over the economy ultimately as it is subject to business cycles which are impacted by interest rates, inflation and taxes which flow from the extent to which we have full employment.
As to Minnesota, we need to maximize our benefits in an expanding economy and seek to make Minnesota an attractive state in which to do business.
I would like to see business owners be able to put their money into growing the business rather than the government. There are areas, the range, for example, which could use encouraging private enterprise to create non-mining jobs there, this area is in under great distress and needs our support.
Regulations only where necessary and consistent with good business practices.
